His remarkable work for ABC News has recently earned him a Christopher Award for the 20/20 special, "Wonder Boy," and a News & Documentary Emmy Award for 20/20's "Heartbreak & Heroes," on the 2017 Las Vegas Michael Harris Wildlife Specialist KIRO 7 News 091418massacre. Michael is also one of the most successful conservationists in the region, appearing regularly in the media as a respected authority on marine wildlife issues.
